The Solar Bodies screen allows the positions, Altitudes and Azimuths for the Sun, Moon and all the planets to be viewed over a period. A sextant observation of the Sun can be planned against a desired azimuth. Intervals range from one second up to a year.

As with the rest of AstroNav, the detail available goes beyond simple sight planning while it can be managed to provide succinct and legible information.

As Astronomy software, it allows planet positions to be quickly identified for a particular time or the time to be calculated when they will be in a particular position.
